Welcome Home! 4 new Habitat Houses Completed

Habitat for Humanity Housing at 2254 Old Kings Highway, Wellfleet.  At long last, the four houses are completed (two, 2-bedroom and two, 3-bedroom ranches) making a newly created neighborhood. The new home owners helped to physically build the homes contributing in excess of 250 hours of sweat equity per adult and then they purchased them at affordable prices.  These homes were made available to people at 60-80% of area median income and will stay affordable in perpetuity.  They are energy efficient and solar equipped.  In keeping with the surrounding homes and the pine land ecosystem special care was given to conserve the natural forest duff and replant it at the subdivision entry.  The yards will be natural and native plants have been added to the landscapes. In January of 2026 each new owner closed on their house and moved into their new home!
